Based on feedback from our customers, we are releasing the new LT300 line of fully-rugged, 360 convertible laptops designed to be versatile, durable, and reliable in various conditions. Specifically designed for the Air Force with a need to utilize the laptop/tablet in confined, small spaces and in the field, this unique design is durable enough to withstand harsh conditions, while also being compact enough to use in tight spaces such as during maintenance of an aircraft.
DESIGN
The DT Research LT300 series laptops have a unique 360 convertible design that allows users to experience the innovative design of easily transforming a laptop to a tablet in one easy fluid motion. It can be converted from tablet to laptop and vice versa in limited confined spaces with minimal effort rather than needing both to remove and detach the keyboard.
The DT Research Rugged Convertible Laptop series features cameras for identity verification and security night vision for light-sensitive situations where it needs to be used without the screen being seen. This convertible laptop series also supports a wide temperature range, has shock and vibration protection that can be used in missions, operations, and most any environmental condition.

Rated MIL-STD-810G/H for shock and vibration protection, MIL-STD-461F for EMI and EMC tolerance, and HERO (Hazard of Electromagnetic Radiation to Ordnance) certified.
USES
The LT300 convertible laptop is built for military standard and mission-critical environments. With the built-in smart card/CAC reader as well as optional IR/RGB front and back cameras for facial recognition, this rugged series provides advanced identity verification for secure data access. The integrated CAC reader provides additional network security so that only personnel with access to specific parts of the network can gain access to the files in which they are given permission to access their cards.
The integrated night vision screen option offers another layer of security for light-sensitive situations when the tablet needs to be used at night undetected, night vision can be turned on and the screen viewed through goggles, yet not seen by the naked eye or from a distance. This convertible laptop is a military standard rugged tablet that can resist water and dust and can withstand a temperature operation of –10C to 60C (-14F to 140F), and humidity 0% 90% that is non-condensing. It has a high capacity battery life for continuous operations with no downtime when the battery needs to be changed; an important specification during a long-term mission.
